My best was for a speciality student publication that was trying to 'get it right' for the patient group in question. My worst was for a student radio program where they were trying to get me to tell them I should endorse their experiment to do some 'academic doping' for a week.
I too have had the "we've got someone to be FOR this argument, can you do AGAINST?" I refused to be boxed into the Either/Or and instead pushed for nuance and complexity. Resisting polarization can be a challenge... but also fun!
